Recently, we heard the great news that China has controlled the virus, as all we have seen Chinese hospitals overflowing with COVID-19 patients a few weeks ago, but now have empty beds. And the number of new cases reported each day has plummeted the past few weeks. That is definitely something that made us all happy and removed the panic from our hearts leaving place for only love and letting us focus on our study. And that is of course the results of hard work and great sacrifices of Chinese people because we have seen doctors and police guards putting their risk lives to keep us safe from the virus. I call them heroes. Now the whole world agree that China dealt with the virus the right way. Before, the situation was critical and we were really worried. But then our college told us to stay in the dormitory and wear masks, and asked us not to go outside the campus, and not to get in contact with strangers or anyone from the outside. Because of these precautions, we are healthy and safe now, for which we are really grateful. We will never forget the great efforts that China and our college had made to protect us. And we hope that the other countries will take China as an example to stay safe from the virus.
最近我们听到好消息，新型冠状病毒的传播在中国已经得到有效控制，因为我们看到几周前挤满新冠肺炎患者的医院，现在大多床位已经空了。过去几周，每天报告的新增病例数量急剧下降。这绝对是一件让我们所有人都开心、并消除内心恐慌的事情。这让我们能够专注于学习。当然，这是中国人民辛勤努力和巨大牺牲的结果，因为我们看到医生和警察为了保护我们免受病毒感染，不惜冒着生命危险奋战在第一线。我称他们为英雄。现在全世界都认为中国抗击新型冠状病毒的方式是正确的。之前，情况十分危急，我们真的很担心。但接下来学校让我们待在宿舍里，不要外出，戴上口罩，不与陌生人或外界任何人接触。这些预防措施有效保障了我们的安全，对此我们非常感激。我们永远不会忘记中国政府和咸阳职院为保护我们所作的巨大努力。我们也希望其他国家能以中国为榜样，采取有效措施抗击病毒。
